 Submit Proposal

Theme & Topics of Interest:

Our conference theme for this year is “NAQ Celebrate 25 Years of Learning, Connecting, and Sharing!”.   We are currently seeking presentation proposals in alignment with this theme.  We are particularly interested in the innovative and creative approaches you are using or developing to enhance the lives of people with disabilities and address the challenges being faced by the field.

We are accepting proposals electronically.  Please note that you will not be able to save incomplete proposals, so we recommend gathering all of your information ahead of time.  You will need the following:

  1. A current biography for each speaker (approximately 200 words)
  2. An introduction for each speaker (short paragraph)
  3. A current photo (preferably a head shot) of each speaker.
  4. A session title.
  5. A session description (50 - 100 words that provide a clear description of the session content).
  6. A 1 - 2 page abstract that provides additional detail regarding your session content.

Proposals must be submitted by May 1, 2020.

The NAQ advisory committee will review proposals for relevance to the conference theme and topics of interest, content quality/clarity, and compatibility with the overall program.  Speakers will be notified via email or phone of the advisory committee's decision regarding the status of their proposal.

All presenters are required to register for the conference.  However, speakers with accepted proposals will receive a $100 discount on their registration fee (maximum of two speakers per proposal/organization).
