Responsibilities At Quest, a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP), under minimum supervision, oversees the daily programmatic aspects of the cluster in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Acquires a thorough knowledge of each client in the facility, to include health and mental status, strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes, and family/guardian situation. Takes ownership of the home(s) to which the Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) is assigned by ensuring it is clean, organized, and provides a homelike environment for the clients. Ensures furniture is in good repair and equipment in the house is in good working order. Functions as the Chair of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). Conducts Habilitation Planning meetings, completes habilitation plan document, develops programs and services goals based on barriers, and develops data sheets to accompany programs and service goals. Ensures timely implementation of Habilitation plan per ICF/ID regulations. Makes certain staff receive initials training on each client's Habilitation Plan. Completes monitoring of goals and makes adjustments as needed to promote client success, to include re-training of staff as necessary. Addresses programmatic changes at IDT meetings on a regular basis. Ensures that active treatment, health, programmatic, personal, and quality of life needs of each client in the ICF/DD are met through client activity schedules, training programs, leisure activities, community inclusion and day program activities. Completes IDT notes and addendums to the Habilitation Plan as needed. Completes monthly and quarterly summaries for each client in case load in a timely manner. Maintains communications with, and monitors client progress at, off-site day programs (including schools). Maintains a copy of the Individual Education Plan (IEP) in the client record for clients who attend school. Ensures consistent implementation of programs across Day Programs and schools. Works with consulting staff to ensure client's needs are met across disciplines. Ensures client behavioral needs are addressed. Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of the ICF/ID Federal Regulations as they apply to the ICF/ID. Adheres to a regular schedule. Completes one 1:00PM-9:30PM shift monthly, one 6:30AM-3:00PM shift monthly, and works one weekend day per month. Additional shift changes may be required based on business needs. Reports to work during inclement weather (such as hurricanes) to ensure correct client ratios. Ensures compliance with Quest's policies and procedure. Completes all other duties as assigned.

Eligible to legally work in the United States Be at least 18 years of age Successfully complete a background check and drug screen Ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to thrive in a team environment Valid FL Driver’s License with a clean driving record Bachelor or Master Degree in Psychology, Human Services or Special Education required Must meet Federal guidelines for QIDP Minimum 1 year experience working as a QIDP
