NAQ is proud to announce that they will be hosting the 2nd Annual TEC (Technology Enhancing Capabilities) Conference. This conference is dedicated to addressing how assistive technology can improve the lives of and encourage independence for people with intellectual disabilities. Dates: June 6 & 7, 2018 Location: NIU Conference Center On June 6 service providers, caregivers, and people supported will learn about a wide variety of technologies – from cutting edge innovations to well-established products and services. Our keynote speakers and breakout session presenters are leaders in the field who are passionate about using technology to help people with disabilities live the lives they want to live. During the hands-on half day event on June 7, attendees will be guided through the process of creating their own pieces of assistive technology. If attendees thought they had fun at this event last year, they will not be disappointed when they see what we have in store for them this year! |
